Born in 1944 in the northeastern Bulgarian village of Lavino, Encho Dulevski graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy (UACEG) in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1968. Following his graduation, he worked in the building industry in Bulgaria until 1973. He then embarked on an academic career at UACEG, where he served as an Assistant Professor from 1973, became an Associate Professor in 1988, and attained the rank of Professor from 2001 until his retirement in 2012. In 1983, he earned his PhD, further solidifying his expertise in his field. Throughout his career, he specialized in teaching steel structures, steel bridges, composite structures (bridges), timber structures (bridges), and the repair and reinforcement of bridges. His main scientific interests included box girders, composite girders, bridge deck behavior, and the plastic design of bridges. He also pursued several specializations abroad, including at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen (1992, 1994, 1999) and the Technological University in Gothenburg, Sweden (2001). In addition to his academic work, he was actively involved in practical bridge design, contributing to various projects such as the 162-meter span box girder bridge on the Hemus Highway�the longest span in the country�and a 155-meter suspension pedestrian bridge.

Laurent PATIER was born in Vichy, France, in 1984. He obtained 2 Master degrees: both in Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC, pass 80%, valedictorian) and Optoelectronics / Microelectronics (pass 70%), in 2007, at the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA, France). He obtained his Doctorate at ONERA (Toulouse, France) and received the Ph.D. degree in 2010. In 2010, he joined the French Space Agency (CNES, Toulouse, France) as doctor/engineer in charge of Antenna modelling. In 2013, he worked at the Electric onboard equipment�s department and he was responsible of Amagnetic lab. Since 2019, he has been working at the Opto-Electronic Detection team at Technics & Performance of Instruments department. He also gave courses for several universities or engineering schools (ISAE SupA�ro, �) since 2011, was elected to the IEEE EMC France chapter since 2021 and joined the Scientific Committee of EMC France in 2022. The French Space Agency supports its spin-off Company for the development of Electromagnetic softwares & expertises (EMC4U) for Space applications, from 2024.

Lloyd Foster has considerable experience in designing, building, and validating complex risk models for large financial corporations. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (2003) where he received a Masters in Computational Finance, Lloyd has formal training in stochastic calculus, object-oriented programming using C++, creation of financial pricing models, building and applying hedge models, and application of advanced statistical techniques. In addition, Lloyd is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has 31 years of post-Fellowship experience in a variety of risk, insurance and actuarial positions. On the executive side, Lloyd has held senior positions at various firms, including: ◼ 5 years as Vice President in the Operational Risk Management division of the Prudential Insurance Company ◼ 3 years as Vice President of Risk Management at Transamerica Reinsurance ◼ 3 years as Chief Risk Officer (the Americas) at SCOR Global Life Reinsurance Company For the past 9 years, Lloyd has headed up Foster Colley LLC, a firm dedicated to providing pricing, valuation, statistical and risk models for insurance and banking institutions.

Miguel �ngel Ospina is a distinguished Colombian civil engineer specializing in construction materials and structural engineering. He is a professor at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, where he has significantly contributed to civil engineering research. His studies focus on using recycled materials in construction and analyzing the mechanical properties of concrete made with recycled aggregates, such as crushed clay blocks. He has published numerous scientific articles in international journals, particularly improving construction efficiency. Miguel �ngel has also collaborated on studies about the durability of reinforced concrete and innovative recycling techniques for construction materials. His interdisciplinary approach and dedication to education and research have positioned him as a leader in sustainable civil engineering in Colombia.

Dr. Abbas Aminmansour is a member of the Structures Concentration faculty within the Building Performance Program in the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His areas of research and scholarship interest include design of steel structures as well as design of tall buildings. Professor Aminmansour is an active member of technical committees in the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and serves on AISC’s Committee on Manuals and Technical Committee 4 of the AISC Committee on Specification. The AISC Committee on Manuals is responsible for the contents of AISC’s Steel Construction Manual (AISC Manual) as well as the Seismic Design Manual. His work has been adopted by AISC several times and included in the AISC Manual. His most recent work is what is referred to as the super table in Part Six of the AISC Manual. He is the recipient of the 2015 Special Achievement Award from AISC. Professor Aminmansour is currently developing an integrated cloud based book and software for design of structural steel members. In addition, Dr. Aminmansour is a current member and past Chair of the Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings (CCHRB). He is also an active member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) where he serves on the Editorial Board of CTBUH’s International Journal of High-Rise Buildings. CTBUH recognized Dr. Aminmansour as one of four 2022 Fellows selected globally for this honor. He was interviewed for a television documentary called Skyscrapers: Engineering the Future which aired on the Science Channel in the United States and has been shown in other countries as well.

Dr. Min-Yuan Cheng is a professor in the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech.), Taiwan. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees of Civil Engineering specialized in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Texas at Austin, U.S.A. from 1988 to 1992. In 2022 and 2023, he is honor awarded the World’s Top 2% Scientists of Lifetime scientific influence ranking (1960-2021 and 1960-2022) and the World’s Top 2% Scientists of 2021 & 2022 scientific influence ranking as well. His primary scientific interests are in Artificial intelligence, Inference, Fuzzy logic, Support vector machine and Machine learning. His Artificial intelligence research includes elements of Genetic algorithm, Mathematical optimization, Data mining and Construction management. Integrating with AI, IoT and BIM applications, his studies deal with areas such as Intelligent decision support system, Disaster warning and prevention, Project management, Process reengineering as well as Construction management. Moreover, his Engineering optimization research incorporates themes from Derivative-free optimization, Global optimization and Fuzzy logic. When carried out as part of a general Artificial neural network research project, his work on Hybrid neural network is frequently linked to work in Multivariate adaptive regression splines, therefore connecting diverse disciplines of study.

Dr. Huang has published more than 40 refereed SCI and EI journal papers, and more than 150 conference papers. In addition, he has been the principal investigator of many research projects sponsored by various government agencies as well as private E/C firms in Taiwan. More than 100 research and/or technical reports were generated as a result. After finished his Ph.D. at Purdue, he worked as a research engineer for two years at Mortenson Construction Company in Minneapolis, USA,. He then returned to Taiwan and worked for Taiwan Construction Research Institute for one year, as an Associate Researcher, before joined the faculty at National Central University in 1997. In 2003, he took a short leave to be a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley to research in the area of lean construction. In 2011 summer, he visited FHWA, USA as a research scholar; In 2016-2019, as a visiting professor, Dr. Huang lectured/teached in Fozhou University, South-East University, and Chongqing University in China

Olga Regina Šostak is an Associate Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, specifically within the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences' Technical Graphics Department. I hold a PhD in Civil Engineering and have been a faculty member at the university since 2011. My teaching portfolio includes courses such as General Technical Graphics, Technical and Computer Graphics, Computer Modeling, Applied Technical Graphics, and 3D Modeling. My primary teaching focus is on guiding students in construction, mechanical, environmental, and event engineering. In my recent scientific research, I have been concentrating on project planning and assessment.

Dr. Ren-Jye Dzeng is currently a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Construction Engineering and Management) from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S.A. in 1989 and 1995 respectively. For the past two decades, he has actively devoted himself in teaching construction engineering and management at the department, and conducted interdisciplinary learning and research as well as several administration services, such as serving as the Vice President of General Affairs for NYCU, and also served as the chairman for the department in recent years. Drawing upon more than 10 years of experience leading the Eco-City Center (Eco-City: Smart Living Technologies Integration Center) at NCTU as the CEO, his research interest shifted from conventional construction management towards interdisciplinary development, including for example, innovative applications of AI, IoT, BIM, brain EEG, vision-based and non-vision-based human action recognition to construction safety and simulation. He also published more than 50 research papers in international journals.

He completed a Leadership Development Program from Harvard University, Boston, USA. Dr. Arain has a wealth of technical knowledge and experience as he worked in numerous professionals roles as an Architect, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Director Projects, and Consultant with construction industry in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Canada in the domains of Architecture and Construction Project Management. He has extensive experience of managing all phases of construction projects including conceptual phase, front end engineering design, detailed engineering, and related project aspects within construction project management domain.

Dr. Harsha Munasinghe is a Professor at the School of Architectural Studies, George Brown College (GBC) in Toronto, Canada. He also teaches at Kotelawela Defence University (KDU) in Sri Lanka as an Adjunct Professor. Before joining GBC and KDU, he was the Head, Department of Architecture, Professor of Architecture, and the Director of Graduate Studies at University of Moratuwa (UoM) in Sri Lanka and an Adjunct Professor at Kyushu University in Japan. Earlier, he was attached to the Center for Urban and Regional Studies in Finland as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow and was nominated to the Academy of Finland as a Research Associate. Dr. Munasinghe was trained as an architect at UoM. Later he joined Helsinki University of Technology (currently known as Aalto University) in Finland to follow a MArch in urban design, and then University of Oulu in Finland for his doctorate. With over 25 years of experience as an academic and a researcher, he has published over 40 research articles, books, and book chapters, and works as an editor and a reviewer for several research journals, has been recognized through awards and citations. His current research interests are design studio pedagogy, design thinking, heritage studies, and building science.

Dr. Mohsen A. Issa received his BSCE, MSCE, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981, 1982, and 1986, respectively, and postdoctoral from the University of South Florida, Tampa. Dr. Mohsen A. Issa is a Professor of Structural and Materials Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). During the past 36 years at UIC, he has taught courses in concrete materials, reinforced and prestressed concrete structures, steel design, experimental stress analysis, seismic design, thinshell concrete structures, bridge design I, and bridge design II. Professor Issa is the Director of the Structural and Concrete Research Laboratory. He served as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Civil and Materials Engineering for six years. Through his research funding, he has graduated 30 Ph.D. and 16 master’s graduate students and is currently supervising 3 Ph.D. students in materials and structures. He received several teaching and research awards, including the UIC Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Dr. Rui Liu is a researcher and educator dedicated to advancing the construction industry through the implementation of innovative technologies. Specifically, her research involves construction information system improvement, systems integration through project life cycles, and business process reengineering for complex projects and organizations. Dr. Liu�s research areas of interest include Building Information Modeling (BIM), Digital Twins, and the use of cloud-based technology in facility management. Her research focus has earned her wide recognition and funding. Dr. Liu holds a B.M. in Construction Management (2005) and a B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (2005) from Tianjin University, and an M.M. in Project Management (2007) from Tianjin University. She holds an M.S. in Information System and Operations Management (2010) and a Ph.D. in Design, Construction, and Planning (2012) from the University of Florida. Prior to joining the University of Florida, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Science for the University of Texas at San Antonio for four years. She received the 2015 Best Paper Award from the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management (JCEM) and she currently serves as the Vice President of the ASCE Global Center for Excellence in Computing.

Dr. Mohammad Ilbeigi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Ocean Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jerey, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Construction Management and an M.Sc. in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgina, USA. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and the University of Tehran, respectively, in Iran. His research area focuses on resilient and adaptive infrastructure development and management. His research projects have been funded by various governmental and private entities, including the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Siemens.

Soheil Shafaei is a "Lead Research Scientist" at the Bowen Laboratory for Large-Scale Civil Engineering Research, Purdue University. Soheil's research interest is steel-concrete composite structures (the SpeedCore system) for wind and seismic applications in high-rise and megatall buildings. Soheil has been conducting experimental, numerical, and analytical research on the lateral load behavior of core walls and performance-based wind/seismic design of buildings.

Debanjali Banerjee is an adjunct lecturer and doctorate student in the School of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati. Debanjali’s doctorate research focuses on understanding the significance of urban and building parameters to elevated surface temperature. Debanjali teaches architecture and architectural engineering studios and electives at the University of Cincinnati. Her professional experience and activity span a wide variety of disciplines including architecture, interior design, urban planning, and engineering. Her research interest is in the domain of urban heat island effect, heat vulnerability, and building energy use to gain insight into indoor overheating, energy burden during summer months, and heat waves. She is particularly interested in understanding shared patterns and potential causal factors in low-cost vulnerable housing with present-day spatial patterns of inequitable exposure to intra-urban heat. Her doctorate work is focused on understanding heat vulnerability in historically redlined neighborhoods.

Malefetsane is a structural engineer with expertise in structural design and analysis. Malefetsane's specialized skill set lies in the field of Finite Element Modelling (FEM) and analysis of shell structures. He possesses a deep understanding of FEM and shell theory and its practical application in solving complex structural engineering problems. His proficiency in using industry-standard software like ANSYS, ABAQUS, DIANA and SAP2000 allows him to effectively model and analyze structures of various complexities. Through research he has carried out Linear Static Analysis, Linear Bifurcation Analysis, Geometric Nonlinear Analysis, Material Nonlinear Analysis, Geometric & Material Nonlinear Analysis (with Imperfections) on cylindrical and spherical shell structures. Ana Blanco Alvarez is a Senior Lecturer in Infrastructure Engineering at the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University (United Kingdom). She was awarded her PhD in 2013 from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC, Spain) and co-founded a spin-out company (Smart Engineering SL) that develops enhanced cementitious composites and advanced technical solutions in 2015. After combining her role as a project leader and part-time researcher at UPC she joined Loughborough University as a Lecturer. Her research interests span construction materials, repair and maintenance of infrastructure and novel processes and methods of construction. She is the Principal Investigator of an EPSRC New Investigator Award exploring self-healing skins deployed via 3D concrete printing. She is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Corporate Member of the Institute of Concrete Technology and Member of the Women’s Engineering Society and its Climate Emergency Group. She is also member of the first cohort of the UK Young Academy.

Omar Smadi is a professor in the department of civil, construction, and environmental engineering at Iowa State University. He is the associate chair for research and international collaboration. Dr. Smadi also serves as the Director for the Center for Transportation Research and Education (CTRE) at ISU. Dr. Smadi earned his B.S in CE from Yarmouk University in Jordan and his MS and PhD in Transportation Engineering from ISU.

Maher Al-Jabari is a full professor of chemical and environmental engineering at Palestine Polytechnic University, and he accomplished his industrial experience in International Chem-Crete Co., Richardson TX, USA; starting as a director of manufacturing and then directing Chem-Crete R&D activities that led to patented crystallization waterproofing technology. Prof. Al-Jabari is an international expert in the fields of waterproofing of construction materials and environment technology and has been involved in international R&D projects in these fields. He has a distinguished industrial record and he achieved breakthroughs in protecting cementitious materials from environmental attacks and providing industrial durability solutions for concrete.

Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Daniel has a specialized focus on Sustainable Infrastructure Materials. Over his 15-year career, Daniel has contributed to engineering projects in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Africa. His versatile engineering background has afforded him roles in both public and private sectors, encompassing everything from engineering design to construction management. His extensive construction know-how has been invaluable in addressing construction risks through cost-effective and time-saving solutions. Daniel is known for employing best practices to excel in demanding environments, all while leading project teams to successful completions. Tan Szue Hann, MBA, MArch, is an award-winning architect, sustainability professional and strategist in sustainable development. Hann is Head of Sustainability and Deputy General Manager, Real Estate Division, at Keppel, Singapore. He is also the Chairman of Sustainability at the Singapore Institute of Architects, the professional body for Architects in Singapore. He has also been Director of Sustainability Development and Engineering at Marina Bay Sands, Managing Director of Miniwiz, and Head of Sustainability at Surbana Jurong. Hann graduated with an M Arch and BA Arch (First Class Honours) from NUS, with a visiting fellowship to UCLA in 2007, and obtained an MBA with Distinction in 2022. Hann is also an appointed World Cities Summit Young Leader, and BCA Built Environment Young Leader, and was Singapore’s 2015-16 BCA-SGBC Young Green Architect of the Year. He has spoken in numerous conferences including SWITCH, the UN Asia Pacific Urban Forum, and COP25 in Madrid. In 2021, he co-founded IxSA (Innovation x Sustainability Alliance), a global non-profit think tank with sustainability leaders, with the goal of creating and perpetuating a manifesto for good sustainability practices. Dr. Amarnath CB is serving as Digital Transformation Strategist for Indian AECO sector companies. Previously, he served as Head – BIM Strategy at Larsen & Toubro. Over the course of his career, he held positions in India, Taiwan, Spain, Italy and UK. He is playing an active role at several Digital Built India initiatives. He is the Founding President of the National BIM Society - India Building Information Modelling Association ® that focus on Digital Transformation of Indian AECO Sector. He is the Chairman-BIM at Governing Council of FOCUSForum of Critical Utility Services. He is serving as Principal Member - Construction Management Sectional Committee CED29 and serving as Co-chair for CED29/P3 Digitalization of Construction Project Management, Bureau of Indian Standards. He is the NOS Committee Member at Construction Skill Development Council of India. He also serves as National Secretary at Forum for Human Rights & Anti-Corruption.

Dr. Yi Bao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering and the Director of the Smart Infrastructure Laboratory at Stevens Institute of Technology. His research interests includeinnovative materials, sensors, structures, robots, and machine learningtechnologies for improving the sustainability, resilience, and intelligence of civil infrastructure. Before joining Stevens, Dr. Bao was a Postdoc at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dr. Bao serves as the Associate Editor for ASCE’s Journal of Bridge Engineering, Assistant Editor for Engineering Structures,and Editorial Board Member of several journals. To date, Dr. Bao has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed journal papers with more than 3,900 citations. Bashir Saleh, Associate Professor and Head of the Building Department at Tripoli's Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies Dr. Bashir Saleh received his Ph.D. in 2013 from Warsaw University of Technology in the subject of designing buildings exposed to severe events (explosions and fires) utilizing modeling, simulation, and experimental tests. In 2007, he earned his Master of Science in Structural Engineering, concentrating in high-rise building design utilizing the European Code for Composite Materials for Steel and Concrete. He was a non-resident professor at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and Osaka in Japan before joining the Libyan Advanced Center for Technical Education in 2014. He performed research in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Tripoli, State of Libya, from April 2014 until April 2019. One of his publications was chosen in 2013 as the Scientific Journal of Architecture's (SJA) outstanding research study. Dr. Bashir Saleh's research interests include modeling and simulation sciences as well as academic works in which he uses modeling and simulation methods (using Abaqus, Ls-Dyna, and MS Patron). Author or co-author of more than 50 scientific papers in other countries and more than 20 scientific articles in the United States. At several scientific gatherings, including the Qatar University 2023 Conference, the Paris Conference in France, and the University of Tripoli Conference, he has given the opening keynote address.
