Biography
Luigi Maxmilian Caligiuri, graduated Magna cum Laude in Physics in 1995,from 2001 is full professor of Physics and, from 2013 also the director of Foundation of Physics Research Center (FoPRC), an independent research organization devoted to advanced research in Physics. From 2014 to 2016 he has been Executive Director of the Scientific Projects Divisions at International Society for Space Science (ISSS). He is expert member of the International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI) and of International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM).From 2019 he belongs to European Quantum Flagship and is invited member of CEN-CENELEC Focus Group on Quantum Technology. From 2020 he belongs to SAI “Science and Information Organization”. Currently, he is also visiting professor at “International Institute of Invincible Rhythms” of India.
He has published over one hundred papers in peer-reviewed international journals of physics and engineering and is editorial board member of many international journals in the fields of theoretical and applied physics. From 2019 he is “Bentham Science Open Ambassador” for Italy. His latest books as author are “Frontiers in Quantum Computing”, published by NOVA Science Publisher in 2020.
He has received several international achievements and awards for its scientific and research activity (among which: “Marquis Who’s Who in the World”database (2016, 2019, 2020), Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (2018, 2020), “Top 100Scientists in the world” medal of the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge (2017), “Great Men andWomen of Science” database of the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge (2017), “Cambridge Certificate for Outstanding Scientific Achievement” of the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge(2016); “International Scientist Awards 2021” on Engineering , Science and Medicine of VDGOODTechnology Factory; “Distinguished Professor Awards” of “Science and Technology Academic, Innovationand Research Awards” (2021), etc.).
His most recent interests include, in particular, the development of coherent quantum field theory and its application to different fields (including fundamental physics, cosmology, biophysics, quantum computation, quantum information and artificial intelligence) and the physics of tachyons.
He is considered a world expert in Quantum Hypercomputing and Coherent Quantum Field Theory.
